ORANGE GOBLIN: BBC Radio 1 'Rock Show' Session To Air Next Week
September 5, 2007British doomsters ORANGE GOBLIN recorded four songs ("Scorpionica", "They Come Back [Harvest of Skulls]", "The Ballad of Solomon Eagle" and "Blue Snow") at the legendary Studio 4 at BBC Maida Vale Studios in London on August 17 for an exclusive BBC Radio 1 "Rock Show" session to be aired on September 10 at modnight as part of Daniel Carter's program.
For those unable to catch it at that time of night, from Tuesday morning it will be available to listen to for seven days via the "Listen Again" feature at BBC.co.uk.
As previously reported, ORANGE GOBLIN has scheduled a special Christmas show on Saturday, December 8 at the Islington Carling Academy in London. Support at the gig will come from North Carolina sludge-meisters SOURVEIN and hard-rocking U.K. hopefuls JOSIAH.
ORANGE GOBLIN's new CD, "Healing through Fire", was released in May through Sanctuary Records. The album was initially released as a CD with a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the band's headline show at London's Mean Fiddler in December 2006.
